Softball Game Preview: East Lansing Trojans vs. Holt Rams

East Lansing is 0-8 against Holt since April of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Trojans will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. East Lansing has given up an average of 11.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

East Lansing is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 11-4 to DeWitt.

Bridget Buhl made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those stolen bases were her first of the season. Talia Dunn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Holt made easy work of Waverly on Thursday and carried off a 13-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Holt's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for East Lansing, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
