Lansdowne saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Lambert, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The Vikings are 2-1 when Lambert posts two or more stolen bases, but 0-4-1 otherwise. Tyler Umstead also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, St. John's Catholic Prep scored first but ultimately less than Severn School in their game on Wednesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Admirals. Vikings fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Admirals since on Wednesday.

Lansdowne's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
