Soccer Recap: St. Raphael Academy Takes a Loss

St. Raphael Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the North Providence Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Raphael Academy of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

St. Raphael Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for North Providence, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. St. Raphael Academy will venture away from home to challenge East Greenwich at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. East Greenwich's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Providence, they will head out on the road to face off against Hope at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
