Baseball Recap: Choctaw County Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Choctaw County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the East Webster Wolverines on Friday, falling 7-0. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Chargers, who fell 3-1 when the teams last met back in March.

Choctaw County's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for East Webster, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-7.

As of now, neither Choctaw County nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
