Volleyball Recap: Sylvan-Lucas' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sylvan-Lucas came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Thunder Ridge Longhorns by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on September 2nd.

Harlee Nelson paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up four kills. Nelson were helped by Josie Svaty and Lily Pancost, who contributed five assists each. Nelson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Sylvan-Lucas' win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Thunder Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Sylvan-Lucas and Thunder Ridge will both be playing Bennington the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will head out to face the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
