Basketball Game Preview: V.R. Eaton Eagles vs. Cedar Hill Longhorns

Having just played yesterday, the V.R. Eaton Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Cedar Hill Longhorns at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a Battle of the Birds when V.R. Eaton faced off against Bishop Dunne on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Falcons 84-33.

V.R. Eaton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Harris, who shot 70% from the field en route to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Goodman, who posted nine points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Cedar Hill not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 12, 2024 (when they won 91-50). They breezed past Bowie to the tune of 83-49.

V.R. Eaton's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Cedar Hill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
