Football Game Recap: Richwood vs. Carroll

Richwood have had to suffer through a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. On Thursday, they won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Carroll 24-23. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

Finally capturing their first victory of the season, Richwood advanced to 1-6. Carroll are on a four-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Richwood take on Wossman at 7:00 PM. Carroll will be staying on the road, facing off against Union Parish. Union Parish enter the contest touting a three-game streak of increasing point totals.
