Volleyball Recap: Key West Takes a Loss

Key West lost against Spanish River back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Conchs fell 3-1 to the Sharks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 19-25, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Key West saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Journey Lamb had 15 digs. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Lamb.

Spanish River found their leader in sophomore Siara Ferrante, who had 14 digs and four assists.

Key West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Spanish River, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Key West will challenge Coral Shores at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spanish River, they will face off against Westminster Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
