Volleyball Recap: Des Moines Christian Comes Up Short

Des Moines Christian was the 2-0 winner over Lake Mills when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday.

Des Moines Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lake Mills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Des Moines Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Wapsie Valley on the 27th. As for Lake Mills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bondurant-Farrar on the 27th.
