Volleyball Recap: Tahquitz Falls Despite Big Games from Jaden Gonzalez and Marley Tuliau + How To Watch

Tahquitz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Elsinore Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Tahquitz took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-23.

Tahquitz's loss came despite strong showings from Marley Tuliau and Jaden Gonzalez. Tuliau had seven kills, four aces, and two blocks, while Gonzalez had 12 digs and eight assists. Tuliau is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Whiting, who had 11 digs.

Tahquitz's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Elsinore, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tahquitz will head out to face off against San Jacinto at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elsinore, they are taking a road trip to square off against West Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
