Basketball Recap: Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Skates Past Strasburg/Zeeland with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier). They breezed by the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers to the tune of 72-26 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rangers have posted since February 23, 2024.

Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Strasburg/Zeeland, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier has already played their next match, a 57-39 victory against Maple River on the 4th. As for Strasburg/Zeeland, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on LaMoure/Litchville-Marion at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
