Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richland County). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 125-15 stomp they got against the Christopher Bearcats. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Richland County had a senior duo take command as Rex Hallam went 7 for 11 on his way to 22 points and Arjay Keller went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for Hallam. Casey Thomann was another key player, going 5 for 7 on his way to 10 points and five rebounds.

Richland County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Christopher, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Richland County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-45 defeat against Meridian on the 28th. As for Christopher, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trico at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
