It was a good run, but Ida unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels. The Bluestreaks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons/Kestrels from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ida's loss dropped their record down to 17-19-1. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 28-5-1.

Coming up, Ida will head out to square off against Dundee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Trenton on the 1st.
