Volleyball Recap: Suffern Comes Up Short

Suffern came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Clarkstown North Rams. The Mounties were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

While Suffern was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Clarkstown North's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

Suffern's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clarkstown North, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Suffern will head out on the road to challenge Ketcham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Storm have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Clarkstown North, they will be playing at home against Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
