Moultonborough Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. The matchup between them and the Lin-Wood Lumberjacks didn't end well, with the Moultonborough Academy Panthers falling 77-63. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lumberjacks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Moultonborough Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lin-Wood, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moultonborough Academy will venture away from home to square off against Groveton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lin-Wood, they are taking a road trip to take on Colebrook Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lin-Wood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Colebrook Academy likes a good challenge.
