Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lansingburgh

Lansingburgh waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Albany Academy for Girls Bears. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 10-2 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kyleigh Wilmott, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Adriana Pasinella, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Lansingburgh's record is now 6-2. As for Albany Academy for Girls, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lansingburgh will take on rival Schalmont at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Albany Academy for Girls is set to square off against their familiar foe Cohoes at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
