The Big Spring Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Bermudian Springs Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Spring is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.5 points per game this season.

Big Spring took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against East Pennsboro by a score of 31-21. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Big Spring to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Myers, who rushed for 134 yards and a pair of scores. Ayden Martinez was another key receiver, picking up 118 receiving yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Big Spring was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. They are 5-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, while Bermudian Springs put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Littlestown. The Eagles walked away with a 13-0 win over the Thunderbolts.

Bermudian Springs' win came from a few key players Big Spring will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lane Hubbard, who threw for 129 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 60 yards on only six carries. A healthy portion of Hubbard's aerial production (103 yards to be exact) went to Brayden Heller, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Big Spring's record now sits at 6-4. As for Bermudian Springs, their record is now 7-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Big Spring has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 229.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bermudian Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging 192 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
