Normal University faced Bloomington Central Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Pioneers came out on top against the Saints by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Their offense was headlined by Ava Crabtree and Laney Snow, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Morgan Petelin and her 14 assists. Crabtree was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Normal University's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 14-4 record.
