Softball Game Preview: C.H. Yoe Yoemen vs. Rogers Eagles

C.H. Yoe hasn't had much luck against Rogers recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Yoemen will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. C.H. Yoe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, C.H. Yoe turned things around against Thrall on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yoemen have posted since February 27th.

Charity Scott was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimena Flores, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 12-6 to Thrall.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for C.H. Yoe, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

C.H. Yoe came up short against Rogers when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 9-5. Can the Yoemen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
