Futures hadn't done well against Sacramento Waldorf recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. The Knights walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Waves. The  victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on ten straight.
 Futures walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-9, 21-25,  25-21.
Futures got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Svetlana Blyshchyk out in front who  had 29  digs, 23  kills, two  aces,  and one  block. Blyshchyk has been hot, having  posted five or more  kills the last five times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Nikka Vinokurov, who  had 36  digs and seven  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Futures  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 13  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in eight consecutive  contests.
Futures' record is now 19-2. As for Sacramento Waldorf,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 15-3.
 Looking ahead, Futures will host Capital College & Career Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sacramento Waldorf, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Victory Christian  at 6:00  p.m.
