Basketball Game Preview: Ball Tornadoes vs. Texas City Stingarees

Ball and Texas City are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Ball Tornadoes will be playing at home against the Texas City Stingarees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Ball came up short against Friendswood and fell 50-38. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Mustangs are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, Texas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Friendswood 59-29. The contest marked the Stingarees' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ball now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Texas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
