Volleyball Game Preview: Moorpark Musketeers vs. Camarillo Scorpions

Moorpark is 0-8 against Camarillo since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Moorpark Musketeers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Camarillo Scorpions at 5:30 p.m.

Moorpark is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Oak Park.

Moorpark was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Oak Park work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-17, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Camarillo had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Camarillo never let Simi Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-22.

Camarillo's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Moorpark, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
