After losing to Jay the last time they met, McCollum decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cowboys came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Brooke Romo paced McCollum's offense, picking up nine kills. Romo got some help from Ariannah Soto and her 11 assists. Madelynn Ruiz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

McCollum's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Jay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

McCollum will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
