Football Game Preview: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds

The Jefferson Wildcats will face off against the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Lima Central Catholic will come in with six straight victories.

Jefferson's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Crestview on Friday. They were beaten by the Knights 35-0. Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lima Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Jefferson was taken down by Lima Central Catholic 56-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Thunderbirds' Brady Parker, who rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 137 yards and one TD on only nine passes.
