Volleyball Recap: Basehor-Linwood Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Basehor-Linwood challenged Louisburg on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Basehor-Linwood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Basehor-Linwood's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Louisburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Basehor-Linwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Olathe North on the 27th. As for Louisburg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Shawnee Mission East on the 27th.
