Football Recap: Concrete Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Concrete was feeling good fresh off their 42-8 takedown of Quilcene last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions took a blow against the La Conner Braves on Friday, falling 34-6. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Concrete fell to 2-1. As for La Conner, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Concrete is set to square off against their familiar foe Lummi at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Meanwhile, La Conner will face off against rival Darrington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
