Volleyball Recap: Northport Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Northport had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Republic Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northport had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Northport got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Beardslee out in front who had 22 kills, 16 digs, three blocks, and three aces. That's the most blocks Beardslee has posted over her last five contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalilah Colton, who had 17 digs and three aces.

Northport's record now sits at 5-2. As for Republic, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.
