Basketball Recap: Wadsworth Comes Up Short

Wadsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 73-55 to the Solon Comets. The Grizzlies were probably out for revenge after losing 59-51 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wadsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Solon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Wadsworth will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cuyahoga Falls at 2:45 p.m. on December 28th. Solon and Central Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
