Basketball Recap: Abington Comes Up Short

Abington was the 59-56 winner over Norwell when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Abington Green Wave took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norwell Clippers.

Abington's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-3. As for Norwell, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Abington will square off against Oliver Ames at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Abington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Norwell, they will challenge East Bridgewater at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
