Baseball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton lost against Rockridge back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 5-4. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Ace Christiansen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Rockridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Princeton will face off against Illinois Valley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockridge, they will head out to challenge Riverdale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rockets are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
