Softball Recap: Station Camp Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Station Camp owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the White House Blue Devils. While the Bison didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-18-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Not much got past Presley Kouba, who gave up just two hits to keep White House off the board. Kouba has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Station Camp's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ansley Pitt, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Station Camp pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for White House, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Station Camp will look to defend their home field on Monday against Greenbrier at 5:00 p.m. As for White House, they are taking a road trip to challenge White House-Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
