Volleyball Recap: Crystal Springs Takes a Loss

Crystal Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Loyd Star Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Crystal Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Loyd Star, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crystal Springs will venture away from home to square off against Hazlehurst at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loyd Star, they will challenge Bogue Chitto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
