Grant lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Vaughn, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Lancers blew past the White Tigers 13-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Grant let Carson Rinka and Jose Cuevas run wild. Rinka went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Cuevas went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Cuevas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carlos Garcia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Grant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Vaughn, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-13.

Grant will have a chance to go back-to-back against the White Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
