Softball Game Preview: Wilmington Hurricane vs. Batavia Bulldogs

Wilmington hasn't had much luck against Batavia recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hurricane are taking a road trip to take on the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Wilmington has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wilmington is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Goshen. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricane have lost by exactly five runs.

Meanwhile, Batavia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Western Brown, falling 13-3.

Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Wilmington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
