Paramus waltzed into their game  on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Hackensack Comets 17-4. Considering the Spartans have won six matchups by more than nine  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
Paramus' win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-9. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hackensack, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paramus will head out to  take on Paramus Catholic  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Hackensack, they will venture away from home to  challenge DePaul Catholic  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
