Softball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial fell victim to Park and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolfpack from their previous meeting back in June of 2018.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Park, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Coming up, Centennial will square off against Brainerd at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park, they are taking a road trip to square off against Forest Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolfpack 2.1, the Rangers 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
