Softball Recap: Tipton-Rosemark Academy Victorious

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Grace Christian Academy on Saturday. The Rebels had just enough and edged out the Lions 4-3.

Reese Park looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Tipton-Rosemark Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lanie Howe, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Another was Allison Willis, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive contests.
