Oxford won the last time they faced Sedan, and Zane Whitson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Oxford Wildcats had just enough and edged the Sedan Devils out 58-55 thanks to Whitson, who went 7-for-12 en route to 16 points along with four steals and three blocks. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Ruyle, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 12 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 48.3% field goal percentage.

Oxford pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Sedan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Oxford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-42 victory against Udall on the 11th. As for Sedan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 68-56 loss against South Haven on the 11th.
