Recap: Ridgevue Warhawks vs. Caldwell Cougars
The Ridgevue Warhawks came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to Caldwell for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-20 victory at home. Ridgevue has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Ridgevue was led to victory by Jacotah Thomas and Myra Martinez. Thomas scored nine points along with three steals, while Martinez scored eight points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Bratvold, who scored seven points.
Ridgevue has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Caldwell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Ridgevue will head out on the road to take on Bishop Kelly at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Kelly will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
