Edwards County entered their tilt with Fairfield on Thursday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mules. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Mules back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Edwards County never let Fairfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16.

Grace Bishop paced Edwards County's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bishop got some help from Alice Robb and her 22 assists.
