Soccer Recap: East Ridge Takes a Loss

If East Ridge was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Pinecrest Lakes Prep last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The East Ridge Knights fell just short of the West Port Wolf Pack by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

James Woodhead and Julian Perez scored both of East Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

East Ridge dropped their record down to 8-7-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Port, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

East Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Port has also already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Vanguard on the 16th.
