The Dayton Dust Devils will face off against the North Valleys Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dayton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Dayton is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since February 27th on Saturday. They came up short against Spring Creek, falling 14-5. The Dust Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ivor Evans made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Dallan Cowee, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, North Valleys entered their tilt with South Tahoe on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Vikings. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.
Alejandro Urbina was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Urbina was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jeremy Behm, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Austin Dozier was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double.
North Valleys kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
North Valleys' win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Dayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Dayton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like North Valleys struggles in that department as they've averaged .374. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
