Basketball Recap: Carver A&T Wildcats vs. Owings Mills Golden Eagles
The Carver A&T Wildcats can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They breezed by Owings Mills at home to the tune of 51-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carver A&T also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Carver A&T was led to victory by Elisah Guity and Jada McAliley. Guity scored 14 points, while McAliley scored 17 points. It was the first time this season that McAliley scored 15 or more points.
Carver A&T now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Owings Mills, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Carver A&T will head out on the road to square off against the Bay Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Chesapeake is ranked 155th, while the Wildcats are ranked 146th). As for Owings Mills, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Woodlawn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Wednesday.
