University Lab extended their postseason success on Friday against Madison Prep Academy. They had just enough and edged out Madison Prep Academy 32-30. The win was familiar territory for the Cubs, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Madison Prep Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Harlem Turner, who rushed for 217 yards and one score on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Madison Prep Academy also got a significant boost from Dylan Reed, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.

University Lab's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Madison Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Looking ahead, University Lab will venture away from home to challenge St. Charles Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Cubs' offense will have their work cut out for them. Madison Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
