Softball Game Preview: Lindhurst Blazers vs. Mesa Verde Mavericks

The Lindhurst Blazers will challenge the Mesa Verde Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. Lindhurst knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Mesa Verde likes a good challenge.

Jasmine Ortiz was a standout: she scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Evelyn Kupser, who scored four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Lindhurst always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .696. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mesa Verde only posted an OBP of .292.
