Baseball Recap: Ravenna's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ravenna extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 4-8 in the process. They skirted past the Springfield Spartans 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ravens have posted since April 16, 2024.

As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7. They have struggled against Ravenna recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

For Springfield's part, Jaden Bracken spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Wyatt Bartholomew made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That run was his first of the season. Rylan Slusser was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
