Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross lost against Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Holy Cross Cougars had to suffer through a 67-34 loss at the hands of the Valley Vikings.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Holy Cross does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they will host Pleasure Ridge Park at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
