Worthing has gone a perfect 7-0 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Colts will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Worthing took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northside 57-7. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-0.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Washington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 13-6 win over Wheatley. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Washington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Quiten Powell. Dexter Williams was another major factor on D, picking up 3.5 sacks, forcing one fumble, and making eight total tackles.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Worthing, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Worthing against Washington in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
