Baseball Recap: Edon Takes a Loss

Edon's last matchup with Wauseon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Bombers lost 12-2 to the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bombers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Edon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zayne Oberlin, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Edon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Wauseon, their record now sits at 5-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edon will challenge Edgerton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wauseon, they will head out to face off against Napoleon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
