Canyon Lake owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They blew past the Bandera BULLDOGS 7-0. The result was nothing new for Canyon Lake, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Carter Williams made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Michael Anderson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Gram Simpson, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Canyon Lake's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 20-11-1. As for Bandera, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-13-1.

Canyon Lake will have a chance to go back-to-back against Bandera: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
